• CUSTOM CELLULOSE ACETATE

  Oscar Wylee frames are individually cut from premium sheets of Italian-made acetate. Eyeglasses made from this versatile material are extremely resilient, and can produce a vast array of vibrant colours and structures. These frames are complemented by some of the sturdiest hinges for absolute comfort and durability.

• TRADITIONAL HAND ASSEMBLY

  Our craftsmen employ traditional techniques and complex procedures by hand to achieve the high level of refined artistry requisite in the perfect pair of eyeglasses. Each frame passes through numerous stages of precision sanding and hand-polishing before reaching completion.

• OPTICAL LENSES

  Oscar Wylee uses only the highest quality lenses as the standard. All our lenses are coated multiple times with specialised anti-reflective and UV-proof coating. Additionally, scratch resistant coatings are applied to each lens to make them extremely enduring and suitable for everyday use.

• HIGH INDEX LENSES

  For prescriptions with a sphere ranging from less than -4.00 to greater than +4.00, ultra-thin high-index 1.67 lenses will be required. High-index lenses are thinner and lighter than standard lenses and reduces the magnification of the eyes. For stronger prescriptions, we use high-index lenses at an additional cost of $50.
